Graduation-finally!!!!
After several years, the hard work paid off and I finally graduated from college with a bachelor of science in nursing degree. Thanks to all of the family and friends who supported my family and I during these years. Here are some pictures of the nursing ceremony and the commencement. The lady in the last picture is our valedictorian-she still has a 4.0.

The Lord's work will go forth.
I have been somewhat bothered by the results of the election and the issue of same-sex marriage. I have been thinking about it a lot lately and what kind of a world my kids are going to grow up in and I was reading about Joseph Smith this morning and a quote by him that gives me a lot of comfort is:
“The Standard of Truth has been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done.”
No one can stop the Lord's work and I know that if we follow President Monson and do everything that we are supposed to do, we will be blessed. The example will be set for our children and they will know what road to take when the time comes and they are faced with their potentially life altering trials.

Huge relief!!!!!!
So in our last semester of nursing school we take our finals at the end of October. So guess what that means, yes I am done with my finals and I am so relieved. For the next five weeks we will be in the hospital precepting one on one with a nurse. I found out today that I will be in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) which is awesome because that was my first pick out of all of the floors. (It was my favorite rotation) It's weird that I am done studying for exams and I will never have to study for another one again, unless I get my masters, which won't be for a couple of years if ever. It doesn't seem like I have been going to school for the last 5 years, but it has been well worth it and I am so glad that I'm almost done.

Time-out.
I came into the room the other day and saw that Easten had put his truck in the corner. He said that his truck needed a time-out.

Spending money
I hate spending large amounts of money at one time...tuition, rent, plane tickets. I know that there aren't a lot of ways around some things but the plane ticket I just bought for my brother's wedding is ridiculous. I am excited that he is getting married and that he is getting married in the Nauvoo Temple because I have never been there. But by the time this trip is all over for me to fly there, get a rental car, hotel, food, etc. it will cost almost 1000.00 bucks. It's a good thing I love my brother and that I won't be too pregnant to fly at that time. (Jan) That is just for me to go, good thing Wes and the kids aren't coming.

So thoughtful
I know what everyone is thinking, Wes is so thoughtful sending me flowers, well he usually is but this time I sent the flowers to him. We have had a few complications this week and I thought that it would be a nice suprise at work. The only problem that I had was that I ordered them online from a local place and the picture at the top is what I saw. The next two pictures are the flowers that Wes got. Not complaining or anything but they just don't look the same. Does anyone else agree? Maybe it's just me.
Princess Abbie
Abbie likes to look pretty, especially for church. Today was their primary program and she thought that she should look especially nice.

Video clips of Easten
Since it's Easten's birthday this week, I thought I would post two of my favorite clips of him. One was on my previous blog, so some of you have seen it but it still makes me laugh.
School days
The kids all started school again. Abbie is my big kindergartener, and the boys go to preschool three days a week. They all love it and so do I.
