First day of school-8/13/12

One of my favorite times of year, back to school time. They were so excited to go. Abbie is in 4th grade with Ms. Jaquez, Easten is in 1st grade with Ms. Wheeler and Noah is my big kindergartener with Ms. Greenwade.
They are growing up so fast, but I look forward to all the good times ahead!

24 of July celebration

It's tradition. We always love pioneer day. It's a good day to remember what the pioneers had to go through to reach the Salt Lake Valley. I couldn't have done it, and I am so grateful that they were strong enough to endure it.

The kids had a great time this year. Their favorite, as always, was the money pit. It was so much fun!

Abbie's softball pool party

Abbie's softball teammate has a nice backyard that they used for their softball party. They got nice medals for playing so hard, they did such a great job this year!

The video clip is of Abbie doing a flip off the diving board AND Bella telling me something that I hear about every half hour of every day - hey at least she doesn't pee in the pool : )

They won!!!

Abbie played on her cousins' baseball team last year, but this is her first official year of softball. She loved it and they were a really good team, they took first place in their tournament overall in a close game that was 7-6; even watching at this age it's pretty intense. As much as I want soccer to be Abbie's sport because I love soccer, I think softball is going to be it. She's pretty good and I love watching her play.

Wesley's Birthday

 

For Wes' 32nd birthday this year we went camping....shocking, I know. Camping/hunting is just something the Warner's do. I was not raised camping, but I tolerate it because my honey loves it. So as a compromise and because this is the only way I will ever go camping with 4 small kids that love to get dirty, we bought a camper. Camping is a very different experience when we sleep in a camper, it's actually enjoyable. If I have a bathroom and a shower and a bed that's off the ground I am happy.

I can't believe we are already in our 30's. Time is flying by and sometimes I wish it would slow down. I am so blessed to be married to such a wonderful man, he is so good to me. Love you sweetie!!!!

Abbie's softball

Abbie loves to play softball, and she is really good! She's a really good batter and she is one of their pitchers. Her team is awesome this year, they have won every game except one and that was because they stopped using the pitching machine and started doing past pitch and that threw them off a little. I love watching my kids play sports!

I finally remembered to take the camera to one of her games. The first clip is of her hitting and running to second and the second clip is her running home; unfortunately I didn't get any clips of her pitching. It's hard to film through a chain-linked fence and keep an eye on the other three kids on the playground behind me, but I got some good footage, enjoy!
