Abbie was so cute on her first day. She did end up being really nervous when we got to the school and she did cry after I left, says her teacher. But she has had a little time to adjust and she really does make friends fast. She also started soccer for the first time and her first game is on Saturday, I will post pictures. I think she does really well at practice, but yesterday some girl on her team told her she wasn't good. What is wrong with some kids? So obviously it made Abbie cry. So many new things, but we are glad that we made the move.
On a different note, the preschool that Easten will be starting as soon as we can get all of the paperwork done had a little boy that tested positive for the swine flu AND they sent 28 kindergarteners home on Friday for flu like symptoms and 17 preschoolers home I think yesterday. Were parents informed of this? No-so glad Easten hasn't started school yet, maybe we'll wait a few extra days to make sure that everyone is feeling better. I know the swine flu isn't much different from the regular flu, but when one of my kids gets sick they all do and I especially don't want my baby getting sick.

I heard about the H1N1 issues there, that is so scary! I'm sure it will all blow over in a couple of weeks. What cute pictures of Abbie, and yeah some kids are so rude, I swear parents don't teach kids to be polite anymore!
I am so glad that you didn't beat up the little girl! I don't why there are mean kids in the world . . . I guess a good reminder for us to be nice. Abbie looks so cute!
Yeah, you know how I'd be reacting about the flu, freaking absolutely nuts removing my child from school crazy. I need therapy :)
Other than that, Abbie is a beauty, just like her mama!
